4th Sat. Workshop “Cover-to-Cover II: Taking Altered Books to the Next Level” w/Renee Richetts
April 27, 11:30 am - 2:30 pm
Altered books are a genre of mixed-media sculpture that changes a book from its original form, converting its shape and often changing its meaning. Using recycled hard-cover books, acrylics, plastics and metal, attendees will create an altered book sculpture worthy of display
in your local book arts exhibition.
Renée Richetts is a California artist who works at her studios in Southern California and Chicago. She has over 30 years teaching experience in the U.S. and Europe. She is a huge fan of all things science-fiction related, and brings a sense of fun and generosity to all her classes.
