About the Photo Arts Group

The PhotoArts Group (PAG) has made a name for itself in the County’s art scene since 2003 when it was created by a handful of professional and amateur photographers. Formed under the umbrella of the Escondido Arts Partnership, the artists early focus was to promote, display, and refine their work. While this is still their focal point, the Group’s interests have expanded to include mentoring aspiring artists, networking with other photography groups, and promoting photographic arts in San Diego County communities.

PAG members include established professionals, college photography instructors, serious amateurs, and emerging artists from throughout the county. Their photography encompasses a wide variety of styles and media ranging from traditional film and old and new alternative processes to cutting edge digital images.

To become a member of PAG is easy: Just attend a PAG meeting the 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Escondido Arts Partnership Gallery, 262 E. Grand Ave., Escondido, CA 92025 and sign up. The only costs involved are minimal hanging fees of approximately $20 to exhibit in PAG shows at various venues.
The hanging fees cover the cost of producing exhibitions
and managing the PAG InnerSpace Gallery.

If a member chooses to show at the PAG InnerSpace Gallery,
they must also join the Escondido Arts Partnership whose annual dues are $50.

PAG meets every 2nd Wednesday, from 7pm to 9pm
